In October 2003 www.emerginghcurch.info was launched. It was the result of a year’s dreaming and scheming on the part of various friends and organisations partnering together. The site follows a magazine format with a monthly update with a fresh homepage featuring new stories and reflections. The number of visitors has steadily increased since the launch – at the time of writing there are 250 000+ hits a month with over 10 000 unique visitors. We are very chuffed with how it has gone so far – beyond our expectations. It has become ‘a touching place for the emerging church’.

We are having a day in Birmingham in May to do three things: reflect on how the site has gone so far, meet with contributors and users of the site and to dream how it might develop in the future. It will be a small gathering of about 40 people. As part of the day we will experience worship and hear stories from some emerging church groups in Birmingham. We’d love you to be part of of the day if you’d like to. These are the details:
