So who are you, where you from, what do you do in life?
Good to meet you…I've been here before, but we've never met. I am greg dostal…I pastor a very new faith community in fort wayne, Indiana called ACT1 vineyard church.

Can I get you a drink? Cappucino, earl grey, dandelion and burdock, pale ale?
Right now I feel like a pint of Harp if you have that on tap, please.

No…thanks…I just ate.

So, if you had to describe the church/project/experiment/thingy you are currently involved with in one sentence, what would that sentence be?
ACT1vc is a passionate faith community sincerely seeking the LIVING GOD…and all that comes with HIM!

Are you an instigator? / new recruit? / have absolutely no recollection of how you got involved?
I instigate by asking questions of people, of GOD, of faith, of everything. I am a new recruit every single morning…learning, absorbing, seeking, and gathering. I know exactly how I get involved…GOD grabbed me from where I was, spun me around, and pointed me in the direction HE wanted me to go…I have been excitedly and dizzily stumbling down that path ever since.

What do you value most about being part of it?
GOD continues to show me things I have never seen. GOD continues to change lives around me. GOD continues to reveal HIMSELF in new ways. I'll stick around to see that!

What excites you most about it?
The people GOD has brought into my life…and how I thought I was going to be ministering to them, and they are always ministering to me…whether they know it or not!

Three words that describe your attitude to 'being church' in the big wide world: Real…relevant…relational.

Three words that DON'T:
Closed…finished…answered.

You have this weird dream - you meet Jesus face to face.
Where does it happen, what does he say to you?
I think HE is all of a sudden sitting next to me in my car as I'm driving to work…HE says to me, "greg…stop trying to make something happen, and start to join up with me on what I'm already doing!"

What's the big secret you're itching to share with everyone?
I am still waiting for the instruction manual to arrive.

What would your 'emerging church survival kit' contain?
A Bible, a pack of gum, my guitar
