So who are you, where you from, what do you do in life?

Salem Oregon, I am a follower of the risen Christ and servent in HIS kingdom
I am a father and a Husband I am a student and future teacher.
I am a writer I am a artist, painting and photo I plan on writing a book, kind of a mishmash of theology, poetry, and art. And I have been working on a commentary of Revelation, its maybe half way done but I still have miles to go.
I also am working on creating some still visuals for churches to use and also material for churches to create handouts templates mostly. Right now its a dream but who knows?

So, if you had to describe the church/project/experiment/thingy you are currently involved with in one sentence, what would that sentence be?
A church plant, with a focus on reaching the post-modern folk in our area and also those burn, burned out, The missing, the misinformed and other wise disenfranchised by the modern church.

Are you an instigator? / new recruit? / have absolutely no recollection of how you got involved?
I am a willing patient at the mental ward.....errr umm I am just a helper and servant and part time butt saver (several stories that are longer than room permits), but mostly a n00b.

What excites you most about it?
People who can really communicate and will let people be themselves

Has anyone ever turned up out of the blue not knowing what to expect?

Funny you should ask....We were wake boarding and he said check this out, a 540. Funny thing I don't wake board. (you never said it had to be profound)

What's the big secret you're itching to share with everyone?
I am in the 80% that dig for gold when I drive......ewww......Ok not really, I am a poet and have publish a couple of poems in some minor publications. But had it driven from me by the fundamentalist church I was at, and now I am rediscovering the Joys of verse in relation to my walk with God. Also I am finding out my writing (poetry and essays) is impacting, well according to my wife and friends.
